About the Founder

Sara Moynier is a US veteran with more than 20 years of experience in global security, blending frontline law enforcement, human intelligence, academic instruction, and corporate risk leadership into a well-rounded security perspective.

  • FBI special agent (11 years): Conducted a wide range of criminal field investigations, developing investigative rigor, evidence-based decision making, and operational leadership under pressure.

  • Human intelligence specialist: Transitioned from traditional investigative work into human intelligence, cultivating a deep understanding of human behavior, elicitation techniques, source development, and analytical tradecraft.

  • Academic role: Served as a professor at the College of Marin teaching Administration of Justice, translating operational experience into classroom instruction, mentoring future public-safety professionals, and grounding practice in theory and ethics.

  • Tech-sector global security: Moved into corporate security for the technology sector, leading due-diligence teams at Meta and overseeing identity verification efforts at Coinable. In these roles she managed cross-functional risk assessments, vendor and third-party investigations, fraud and identity-risk mitigation strategies, and scalable operational processes.
